Dr. Katherine Klos, Urologist

Dr. Klos is a board-certified urologist in Washington, DC. She believes in a partnership approach to help her patients reach their goals through traditional medical therapeutics and overall wellness strategies. Dr. Klos is also active in research and developing technologies, and she serves in an advisory role at the FDA.

She completed her medical training at the University of Alabama and her urology residency at The George Washington University.

Dr. Susan Mitmesser, Scientist at Pharmavite

As a leading biochemist at Pharmavite, Dr. Susan specializes in analyzing the scientific integrity of the ingredients to ensure optimum product function and efficacy. With her research, she helps drive long term, innovative solutions for key health issues, like urinary tract health. Pharmavite is the makers of the leading vitamin and supplement brand Nature Made. Uqora is a part of Pharmavite's women's health division.

She holds a PhD in Nutrition Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska and a Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Payal Bhandari, Functional Medicine M.D.

Dr. Payal combines the best in Western and Eastern medicine to define the root cause of health concerns and provide holistic care. She is a leading practitioner of integrative functional medicine and the founder of SF Advanced Health in San Francisco, California.

She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from West Virginia University and completed her Family Medicine residency from the University of Massachusetts.

Heather Ott is Uqora's Senior Health and Science Educator supports the team by writing learning center articles and reviewing all scientific communications. Heather Ott is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD) and Uqora’s Senior Health and Science Educator. She earned a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from San Diego State University.

Heather has extensive experience in clinical dietetics and gained expertise in acute and long-term care settings, as well as, food safety and management. As an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Heather has been a mentor and educator of clinical nutrition to students and healthcare professionals.
